We value our customers and their privacy. All personal information is used to ensure efficient processing of your order. This information is used by our staff for contacting and identifying customers and their needs. We will not give, sell, rent, or loan any personally identifiable information to any third party, unless we are legally required to do so or you authorize us to do so.
Information Collection & Use:
Our site's registration form requires users to give us contact information (like their name and email address). The customer's contact information is used to contact the visitor in the event of a problem when processing an order. For example, problems with credit card verification, product availability, etc. Users have a choice of receiving future mailings during the registration process.
Our site uses an order form for customers to request information, products, and services. We collect visitor's contact information (like their email address), and financial information (like their account or credit card numbers). The customer's contact information is used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary. i.e, in the event there is a problem processing an order, corporate changes, or changes in privacy practices. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services. The customer ID numbers are assigned to Web site visitors to verify the user's identity and for use as account numbers in our record system.
Security:
This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and protected. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just "surfing".

Business Policies
Domestic Orders
Orders can be placed online 24 hours a day. Orders may also be placed by calling 704-483-3300 during normal business hours. Business hours for phone sales are Tuesday-Friday, 9:00-5:30 EST and Saturday, 9:00-5:00 EST.
International Orders
All international orders must be emailed to info@hotrodexpress.com with quantities and item numbers, as well as a complete shipping address. We will then quote a shipping price based upon your order. We ship all orders through UPS. ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS MUST BE PAID THROUGH BANK TRANSFER; CREDIT CARDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR PAYMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS.
Payment
For orders taken online, we accept Visa and Mastercard. For orders placed on the phone, we accept Visa, Mastercard, cashier's checks, and money orders.
Liability
Hot Rod Express is not liable for any personal or property damage caused by the use or misuse of any product that we sell.
Shipping & Return Policies
Shipping
All orders are shipped standard UPS Ground. Expedited shipping is available upon request at additional cost
Shortages & Damages
We do our best to ensure that your order leaves our store complete and in excellent condition. Shortages or errors in your package contents need to be reported immediately, within 5 days of your order. Please report damages occurring during shipping immediately to both Hot Rod Express and your UPS carrier. Keep all packaging for inspection.
Returns
To return an item, please visit Hot Rod Express, or contact us by email at info@hotrodexpress.com, or by phone at 704.483.3300 to receive a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. Returned items shipped to Hot Rod Express without an RGA number will be refused. Hot Rod Express is not responsible for any shipping costs associated with returned merchandise.
Items may be returned within 30 days of the original date of purchase for a full refund. Any item returned for refund must be a stock item, in new, resalable condition, unopened, with the original packaging completely intact. Under no circumstances are shipping charges subject to refund. Returns for refund MUST include a copy of the original receipt.
Items returned within 30 days of the original date of purchase with damaged or opened packaging, are subject to a 20% restocking charge if accompanied by a copy of the original receipt and in new, resalable condition. Items are not returnable under any circumstances if previously installed, scratched, soiled or in any way used.
Returns will be accepted up to 60 days after the date of purchase for store credit minus a 20% restocking charge, only if accompanied by a copy of the original receipt and in new, resalable condition. No cash refunds for any item will be given after 30 days without exception.
Without a receipt AND/OR after 60 days, items are not returnable or exchangeable without exception. Please save all receipts and check your purchases immediately to ensure your parts are correct, even if you are not installing it until much later.
Special order items are those not regularly stocked in the show room and are not returnable. A non refundable deposit is required for some special order items such as wheels and air conditioning systems.
Defective parts are returnable under the manufacturer%u2019s warranty policy. Hot Rod Express does not independently warranty any product. We are happy to assist our customers in contacting and working directly with the appropriate supplier, however, the credit, repair or replacement of defective items will be made under the terms and at the discretion of the manufacturer. Hot Rod Express is not responsible to provide replacement parts out of the showroom in lieu of following the manufacturers return policy.
Defective Merchandise
Defective parts are returnable under the manufacturer's warranty policy which varies greatly depending on the product. Hot Rod Express does not independently warranty any item we sell. We will make every effort to assist our customers by contacting and working directly with the appropriate supplier, however, the credit, repair, or replacement of defective items will be made under the terms and at the discretion of the manufacturer. Hot Rod Express is not responsible to provide replacement parts out of the showroom in lieu of following the manufacturer's return policy.
